About

Gabby grew up riding at her father’s hunter/jumper training facility, DK-USA Sporthorses, based in Durham, North Carolina. At the age of 12, Gabby began riding the stallion, Cosmeo. Under the tutelage of Jack Towell and his children, Hardin and Liza, Gabby and Cosmeo earned countless placings in USHJA International Hunter Derbies at shows including the Devon Horse Show, Tryon International Equestrian Center, and the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Looking to expand her show jumping knowledge, Gabby moved to Canada at the age of 15 to train with 10-time Canadian Olympian Ian Millar and his daughter, Amy, also a Canadian Olympian. During her eight months with the Millar family, Gabby began competing in international show jumping events and claimed the High Junior/Amateur Championship title at the CSI3* Ottawa International in Ottawa, Canada, and placed second in the Prix de States team competition at the renowned Spruce Meadows venue in Calgary, Canada.

Having joined Denmark’s Youth team, Gabby took the next step in her international career by moving to Belgium to train full-time with Olympic bronze medalist, Stanny Van Paesschen, and his son, Constant. In 2021, she represented Denmark at the FEI European Junior Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal. She began the 2022 season at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, before returning to Europe to contest the Danish Show Jumping Championships. She is based in Europe for the 2023 season and continuing to build her string of horses and sales business.
