Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Gabrielle (Gabby) grew up riding at her Danish father’s international training and sales facility, DK‑USA Sporthorses. At 14, Gabby moved to Canada to ride with 10‑time Olympian Ian Millar and his daughter, Amy. During her eight months with the Millar family, she stepped into international show jumping, where her natural enthusiasm and strong work ethic quickly translated into results. She claimed the High Junior/Amateur Championship title at the CSI3* Ottawa International and placed second in the Prix de States team competition at the renowned Spruce Meadows venue in Calgary.

 

In 2020, Gabby kicked off her international career representing Denmark by relocating to Belgium to train full‑time with Olympic bronze medalist Stanny Van Paesschen and his son, Constant. During her five years based in Europe, Gabby represented Denmark on multiple nations cup teams. Other highlights include representing Denmark at the FEI European Junior Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal and competing at the 3* World Equestrian Games in Herning, Denmark. During this time, Gabby also developed her sales business, REO Sporthorses, selling horses in both the European and North American markets. 

 

Gabby has since returned to Wellington, Florida for the 2026 season to continue to grow REO Sporthorses in the US while maintaining strong connections in Europe. She is currently competing under the guidance of Andrew Welles. 

 

Known for her enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and genuine love for the sport, Gabby continues to build a competitive career marked by international experience, professionalism, and a clear drive to excel at the highest level.
